As a national high-tech enterprise and seasoned fiber optics manufacturer, Olycom has witnessed the development of telecommunication industry.

In early 21st century, Olycom was founded and focused on video and multi-service optical converters.
At this stage, CCTV monitoring requirement was booming and covered analog video(NTSC/PAL/SECAM Format) and HD-definition video(AHD/CVI/TVI/SDI format).
Some other formats like audio, telephone, data, contact closure and Ethernet are also available.
After some years, IP-based cameras were getting popular. PoE switches are developing fast to supply power to different types of PoE cameras.
In the meantime, PoE standard is also in progress from 802.3af/at to 802.3bt.
Olycom introduced industrial grade PoE switches and advanced to industry leading level.
Its mainly designed for harsh outdoor environment use with its high-standard and durable components.
Over the years, the other domestic suppliers also presented industrial network switches with different specifications.

Currently, industrial grade switches has matured. Each supplier has different interesting models to offer.
To stand out, we launched high-speed data center switches for optical network transmission.
This means Olycom has advanced to next level in telecom industry from CCTV security to optical transmission.
We have been recruiting more and more engineering technicians to preparing more optical transmission series.
In year 2022, Olycom added optical CWDM/DWDM devices and Optical Cable Monitoring System in the product list.
In year 2023, DWDM/OTN system was introduced for high-capacity optical transmission on limited fiber optic cable resources.
This is the development of Olycom product line.
Olycom also focus on project contracting domestically and overseas. We kept close cooperative partnerships with such companies as Fujitsu and Phi lips, and participated in several key projects conducted by the State Information Industry Ministry, this greatly boosted our brand reputation in China.
After years of efforts, Olycom now has a sales management system with different branches in major cities throughout China.
