Below queries are collected from our daily work, it is mainly focused on Olycom industrial network switch and industrial unmanaged PoE switch.
We will continuously updating this list, please come to us if you have a new query.
1. What is the input voltage?
A: For PoE switches, it is DC48V~57V.
For non-PoE switches, it is DC12V~57V.
2. What is the power budget?
A: Each PoE port supports 15.4W/30W/60W output.
The default output is 30W(please let us know if you need 60W type)
The total budget: output watts of each port times PoE ports
3. Is it managed?
A: No, this series is unmanaged.
We have another managed series for your choice.
4. What installation method does it support?
A: It supports Din Rail and wall mounting.
If a special mounting kit is required, it is OK, we dealt with it before.
5. Does the fiber port support 100M speed?
A: Yes, for 100M models, it just supports 100M modules.
For Gigabit models, the fiber port is 100M/1000M auto-adaptive, you can insert 155Mb/s or 1.25Gb/s modules, both will work.
6. How are the indicators working?
A: This series share uniform indicator descriptions.
PWR: power
Fiber: FX1/FX2
Copper orange: PoE indicator
On：PoE is working
Off：PoE is not working or this is Non-PoE device
Copper green: Link/Act indicator
On：transmission is normal
Off：transmission is NOT normal
7. Can you help write the label content?
A: Yes,please let us know if you need to put your model name/logo/description on the label.
The standard language is English.
If this is about some different languages like Korean, Italian or Russian, please just send the accurate format, we will copy and paste.
8. Can I have my logo on the device?
A: Yes, we are an OEM manufacturer.
Please just send your logo in PS/AI format, we will take care of the rest.

10. What is in the packing box?
A: there is a device, protective foam, user manual and warranty card.
For some models, there will be extra material like console cable or mounting hangers.
11. What power supply should I use?
A: if you are purchasing a non-poe model, some regular power adapters will be OK like LRS-150-12 MEAN WELL.
If it is about a PoE switch, it should be matching the max PoE output.
Take 240W budget for example, LRS-200-48 MEAN WELL is OK.
There are recommended power supply models in our datasheet, you can refer to it or talk with us for our industrial power supplies.
12. Can your switches work with other brand switches?
A: Yes, it is about the universal networking protocols, so there will not be incompliances.
13. Does the price include power supply and sfp transceiver?
A: No, both are not included, this is the standard practice in this industry.
We have models for your choice, please talk with us for more information.
14. What does N/C mean on the side panel?
A: It means alarm output.
There is a relay inside, when power is off, it will give off an alarm to warm the users.
It is NOT equipped by default, please let us know if you need to keep this function.
15. What is the PoE output?
A: DC48V, it cannot be connected with passive poe devices directly, you need to use a PoE splitter.
16. Can you do DC24V poe output?
A: yes, we dealt with it for some projects.
17. Is it possible to have 12V input and PoE output?
A: Yes, some of our models support DC12V-48V wide voltage input and standard DC48V output.
18. What fiber transceivers should I use?
A: It is based on the projects.
The common specifications are 500-meter/2KM/20KM on MMF/MMF/SMF.

19. Do you have any certification?
A: yes, we got CE/FCC/RoHS/ISO9001.
For some models, we have some extra certificate like E-mark approval.
20. Do you have any online store?
A: yes, we got amazon store and alibaba store.
If you need to test a sample, online purchase will save a lot of trouble.
21. Can you show me how it works?
A: yes, we are a factory and doing different testings each day.
We will take a long video to show what the connection is and how it works.
22.What is the protection level?
A: it is IP40 grade for the enclosure.
6KV surge protection for the copper ports.
This is the popular standard most suppliers adopt now.
23. Can I just have a piece of PCB? I do not need the product case
A: yes, we are a manufacturer and got many PCB boards in stock.
We will simply pack the PCB board well and ship it to you.
24. What should I do if I temporarily do not need PoE function sometime?
A: For this series, it is unmanaged.
To realize this, just use a DC12V or DC24V power supply, PoE will not work then.
25. Do you do SKD/CKD?
A: Yes, we understand that there are some business or customs concerns in import, we totally support this and have some cases done.
26. What is the PoE distance?
A: 100-meter.
27. What is your MoQ?
A: 1 piece is OK for ready models, if it is about a customized model, let’s have some more discussion.
28. What is the warranty terms?
A: 1 year for commercial products and 3 years for industrial products.
